Beschreibung

Location: Bonn, Munich Microsoft 365 Copilot Engineer (all genders) The Fraunhofer Society (www.fraunhofer.de) is one of the world's leading organizations for application-oriented research. 75 institutes develop groundbreaking technologies for our economy and society – more precisely: 32,000 people from the fields of technology, science, administration, and IT. They know that those who come to Fraunhofer want to and can make a difference. For themselves, for us, and for the markets of today and tomorrow. Your new role is based at Fraunhofer headquarters in the "B37 Central IT Service Center" department: in the "Fraunhofer Microsoft 365 Operations" team. Here, company-wide IT infrastructure services with a focus on cloud and collaboration technologies (such as Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID/Azure Cloud) as well as AI-supported services (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot or GitHub Copilot) are managed and further developed for our internal customers in all Fraunhofer Institutes and for Fraunhofer Headquarters. You will work in an interdisciplinary team at our Bonn or Munich location on exciting and innovative topics. We operate and develop a large Fraunhofer private cloud on-premises (with data centers in Munich, Birlinghoven, and Frankfurt). At the same time, we design the use of public cloud services—especially Microsoft 365—and drive the introduction of AI services such as Microsoft 365 Copilot within the Fraunhofer Society. As a Microsoft 365 Copilot Engineer, you will be responsible for the further development and management of the Microsoft 365 Copilot environment, as well as for topics such as GitHub Copilot within the Fraunhofer Society. Here's where you make a difference Development and support of the Copilot environment: You will develop and support the Microsoft 365 Copilot environment within the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. This role requires extensive expertise in the Microsoft 365 environment and AI-powered services and is of great importance to our digital innovation capabilities. Collaboration and integration: You will work closely with colleagues from various teams to continuously improve the functionality and integration of Microsoft 365 services, especially Copilot features. Security and compliance: You will implement and maintain security policies and compliance measures for Microsoft 365 applications, especially Microsoft 365 Copilot. In doing so, you will ensure that all systems comply with strict data protection and compliance requirements and that data integrity within the Fraunhofer Society is maintained at all times. Support and training: You will support internal users and provide training on the features and best practices of Microsoft 365 Copilot. In doing so, you will ensure that our employees can use the new Copilot tools effectively and efficiently. Project management for implementation and optimization: You will be responsible for planning and managing projects for the implementation and optimization of Microsoft 365 Copilot services. These strategically important projects contribute significantly to digital transformation and increased efficiency in our institutes. Expansion of Microsoft Copilot with custom agents: You will design and create your own Microsoft Copilot agents (using Microsoft Copilot Studio) to tailor Microsoft 365 Copilot to our operational processes and needs. In doing so, you will take into account all necessary requirements (e.g., suitable data sources, permissions, and technical infrastructure) for their secure and successful use. Operation and continuous improvement: You will ensure the smooth operation and continuous development of the Microsoft 365 Copilot tools. In doing so, you will guarantee high service availability and a high level of user satisfaction. You will support the operation of the GitHub Copilot infrastructure, which provides Fraunhofer Society software developers with an AI-powered tool. This is what you bring to the table Completed university degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable field. Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 and the underlying cloud technologies (Microsoft Entra ID/Azure Cloud) and, ideally, initial experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot or comparable AI-based assistance systems. Ideally, certification as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or comparable qualification, as well as automation skills, e.g., with PowerShell and Ansible, and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub) and DevOps methods. Knowledge of Copilot agent development (e.g., with Microsoft Copilot Studio) and the necessary prerequisites (e.g., with regard to required licenses, permissions, and data connections) is welcome.
