The Treasury and Tax Office provides the financial foundation for one of Germany's largest cities. The "IT Finance, Fundamentals and Applications" department forms the interface between IT and the specialist departments and is responsible for the procurement of hardware and software. IT contract and license management, IT principles, IT security and data protection are also tasks of the department. Applications in the areas of budget planning and financial services, purchasing and procurement management products as well as around 20 other specialist processes, many of them city-wide, are provided and supported.

Application Administrator (f/m/d) IT Finance Fundamentals and Applications
Full-time, part-time
EGr. 11 TVöD
Your tasks include:
* Planning, coordinating and organizing the use, administration and support of IT processes in the city treasury and in the treasury and tax office
* Creating and updating documents, e.g. concepts and guidelines, for the area of responsibility
* IT project management for the further development of applications and the introduction of new technologies
* Implementation of the legal basis including municipal specifications and guidelines in the area of responsibility
* Regularly carrying out technical audits of IT applications
* Supervising, advising and supporting users and managers in matters relating to the use, continuation and expansion of IT procedures for the area of responsibility
You bring with you:
* Completed, relevant university degree (Bachelor) with a focus on IT or completed training as an IT specialist with many years of professional experience
* Relevant professional experience and comprehensive technical knowledge in the area of the tasks described above
* Commercial expertise and knowledge of procurement and contracting desirable
* Independent, systematic and cooperative way of working
* Analytical thinking and ability to work in a team
* Very good organizational skills
* Strong service and service orientation
* Confidence in written presentation and oral presentation
