Main responsibilities
* Lead and manage valuation, financial modelling, and transaction engagements, ensuring accuracy, objectivity, and compliance with professional standards;
* Oversee financial due diligence projects, including quality of earnings, working capital, net debt, cash flow, and profitability analyses;
* Conduct and review valuations (businesses, intangible assets, purchase price allocations, impairment testing) and develop complex financial models for strategic decision-making;
* Advise clients on deal structuring, negotiation support, and SPA-related matters, highlighting key risks and opportunities;
* Support clients through the full M&A lifecycle — from strategy and target identification to transaction execution and post-merger integration planning;
* Coordinate with tax, audit, legal, and advisory teams to deliver integrated, value-adding solutions;
* Present findings and recommendations clearly to clients, providing actionable insights to support investment and strategic decisions;
* Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members while contributing to business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships.
Main requirements
* 5 to 7 years of experience in transaction advisory is a must, ideally in Luxembourg (i.e., financial due diligence, valuation & modelling, M&A lead advisory);
* Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics;
* Qualified with ACA, CFA or equivalent qualification;
* Strong understanding of GAAP principles (IFRS and Irish GAAP);
* Advanced skills in MS Office – Excel and Power Point; experience in use of databases such as S&P Cap IQ Pro, Mergermarket, Bloomberg etc. is advantageous;
* Experience working with BI tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau etc. is advantageous;
* Fluent English is a must, other European languages are advantageous;
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise reports;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Strong interpersonal skills;
* Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on their own initiative within a challenging and dynamic work environment;
* Strong team player with good organisation and planning skills;
* Strong time-management skills and ability to work towards deadlines; and
* Actively pursuing self-learning, on-the-job training, and knowledge from other team members.
