We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join forces with our DevOps Lead and help push our platform’s observability and automation to the next level. This is a hands-on role with a clear primary focus:
logging, monitoring, and alerting. You’ll be responsible for refining and operating our existing Fluentd + Loki + Grafana stack, making sure it’s not just running—but delivering clarity and insight.
Right behind logging in importance is our CI/CD infrastructure, currently built around GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, and Docker. You’ll help us improve and evolve those pipelines—while also preparing for the broader transition to a more modern deployment architecture. While the tooling for that next stage isn’t finalized yet, we’re open to modern solutions that make sense for our needs.
What makes this role particularly impactful is that you won’t just work on isolated parts—you’ll help build pipelines (CI/CD + data/ETL) that encompass the entire software lifecycle. From local development to automated testing, through staging, deployment, and live production monitoring—you’ll ensure observability, traceability, and stability are embedded throughout. This includes close collaboration with software, AI, and data teams to ensure pipelines are clean, resilient, and feedback-driven.
What You’ll Achieve
* Own and operate our logging and monitoring stack (Fluentd, Loki, Grafana), ensuring reliable, structured, and meaningful telemetry across all environments.
* Maintain and improve our current CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, with infrastructure defined via Terraform and Ansible.
* Help design and implement data and deployment pipelines that span the full engineering lifecycle:
development, testing, integration, deployment, and operations—with consistent monitoring and feedback loops.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate logging and observability into services and environments by default—not as an afterthought.
* Support the exploration and rollout of state-of-the-art DevOps tooling as we evolve our stack, with your input directly influencing the technical direction.
What You’ll Need to Bring
* Experience working with logging and observability stacks—especially Fluentd, Loki, and Grafana.
* Proficiency in CI/CD design and implementation, ideally with GitHub Actions and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
* A strong understanding of how pipelines should support the entire lifecycle of code—from local dev to production ops—with traceability, monitoring, and validation at every step.
* Scripting skills (e.G., Bash, Python) and familiarity with Git-based workflows.
* English proficiency (C1+) for clear async and cross-team collaboration.
Nice To Haves
* Exposure to MLOps, data-heavy pipelines, or infra for AI systems.
* Experience with modern or emerging infra/deployment tools (Kubernetes, Pulumi, Nix, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
* Familiarity with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, etc.).
* German skills are a plus.
