This Is What You Will Do
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based scientific expert supporting Alexion’s medical and scientific objectives across the product lifecycle. The MSL communicates science to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), manages relationships, and fosters collaboration opportunities. The role requires strong business acumen, clinical expertise, and coordination with sales and market access teams.
You Will Be Responsible For
* Developing relationships with medical experts and educating the community with current scientific information.
* Facilitating collaborations like publications, trials, advisory boards, and training programs.
* Providing feedback on data and trends to internal teams and translating this into strategic insights.
* Handling medical information requests and supporting clinical studies.
* Delivering medical education presentations and training staff on scientific topics.
* Representing Alexion at conferences and developing relationships with healthcare professionals.
You Will Need To Have
* A relevant life sciences degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, etc.).
* Experience as an MSL or in scientific sales within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
* Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex data.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Willingness to travel within the region and attend meetings.
We Would Prefer For You To Have
* Experience in rare or ultra-rare diseases.
* Experience with product launches.
* Fluency in German and English.
