Job Description Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Germany GmbH is looking for a Marketing Manager DACH and the Netherlands (m/f/d), based in Cologne. As Marketing Manager, you will be the driving force behind innovative marketing strategies for Abbott’s diagnostic portfolio in the DACH region and the Netherlands. Your focus will be on scientific marketing, customer engagement, and evidence-based communication to position Abbott as a trusted partner in healthcare. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and a strong understanding of clinical concepts to deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Strategic Marketing & Brand Positioning Develop and execute regional marketing strategies aligned with global objectives. Create compelling marketing campaigns that translate complex clinical data into clear, value-driven messages. Lead product launch initiatives, ensuring scientific accuracy and impactful positioning. Scientific Communication & Thought Leadership Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Scientific Liaison teams to develop evidence-based marketing materials. Organize and support scientific events, symposia, and webinars to engage healthcare professionals. Build relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical experts to strengthen Abbott’s presence in the diagnostics field. Market Insights & Customer-Centric Approach Conduct in-depth market analysis: customer segmentation, patient pathways, and competitor intelligence. Identify unmet needs and develop tailored marketing solutions for hospital and laboratory stakeholders. Support sales teams with scientific marketing tools and training to enhance customer engagement. Requirements Minimum 5 years of marketing experience in diagnostics or healthcare; knowledge of Infectious Diseases is a plus. Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical and technical information. Fluent in German and English (written and spoken). Willingness to travel up to 50% nationally and internationally. Expertise in scientific communication and evidence-based marketing. Proven ability to develop innovative campaigns and educational content for healthcare professionals. Excellent presentation and influencing skills; ability to engage diverse stakeholders. High level of initiative, adaptability, and creativity in a fast-paced environment.
