We are searching for our client, a Chinese optical communication and information technology solutions company, a FTTH Project Procurement & Contract Specialist to join their business in Germany. Position Title: FTTH Project procurement and contract Specialist (Civil/FTTH) Position Type Permanent / FTE Start Date: ASAP Location: Frankfurt, Germany Contact: Ramya Bharathy | +49(0)8923889836 Responsibilities Subcontractor & Resource Management: Establish and manage the subcontractor resource pool, including capability assessment and onboarding. Lead subcontractor bidding and procurement processes for projects. Secure and mobilize construction resources based on project plans; participate in kick- off meetings. Oversee subcontractor performance and manage related documentation (PO issuance, approval follow-up). Verify subcontractor payments and initiate/follow up on approval workflows. Material & Warehouse Management: Apply for project materials from the client system using digital requisition lists. Arrange material dispatch and manage returns based on approved inventories. Maintain accurate ledger and conduct regular stock-taking for project warehouses/storage yards. Procurement & Administrative Support: Handle procurement of tools, vehicles, and services for in-house teams. Guide and assist subcontractors with their procurement needs as required. Manage project fleet, fixed assets, and office/site accommodations (leasing, setup, supplies). Oversee office supplies procurement and related expense management. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in a project support role integrating procurement, logistics, or site administration, preferably in telecommunications, construction, or related industries. Solid understanding of subcontractor management, procurement cycles, and basic warehouse/logistics operations. Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP or project management software is a plus. Proactive, problem-solving attitude, and high sense of responsibility.
