The Position Step into a postdoctoral role where your research will directly advance our understanding of fibrosis resolution. By developing and applying innovative _in vitro_ and _in vivo_ regeneration models, you will work to identify and characterize a prou2011resolution gene signature grounded in extensive inu2011house datasets. Your work will primarily focus on mesenchymal cell populations, with opportunities to expand into additional relevant cell types as the project evolves. Collaborating closely with experts across discovery research, you will independently design, execute, and present your studies, driving both conceptual and experimental innovation. Ready to make an impact? Apply now and join us in shaping breakthrough scientific insights. Tasks & responsibilities In your new role, you will develop, optimize, and apply advanced in vitro and in vivo models to investigate mechanisms of tissue regeneration and fibrosis resolution. Furthermore, you will interpret in-house datasets to identify a prou2011resolution gene signature and validate its functional importance through targeted experiments. In addition, you will explore the role of mesenchymal cells in the resolution of fibrotic lung disease, with the opportunity to expand your research into additional cellular compartments. Moreover, you will integrate and interpret singleu2011cell and/or singleu2011nucleus sequencing data to generate hypotheses and strategically guide experimental design. You will also collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to scientific discussions and driving innovation initiatives. You will independently plan and execute experiments with high scientific and operational quality, presenting key findings at international conferences and publishing in peeru2011reviewed journals. Beyond this, you will have the opportunity to supervise Masteru2019s students, supporting their experimental work and fostering their scientific growth. Requirements PhD in Biology, Regenerative Medicine, Pulmonary Research, Molecular Medicine, or a related field Strong background in mesenchymal (regeneration) biology, including hands-on experience with relevant _in vitro_ and/or _in vivo_ models. Experience in pulmonary research is a plus Familiarity with single-cell or single-nucleus sequencing datasets and associated analysis pipelines is a plus Proven ability to work independently, manage timelines, and prioritize tasks effectively Strong communication skills and motivation to work in an innovative, collaborative research environment Fluent English skills, both written and spoken Ready to contact us?
