Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will drive sales growth and achieve key performance indicators within their assigned region. Key responsibilities include developing new business opportunities, securing orders, preparing and negotiating annual contracts, pricing, and forecasts in close alignment with internal stakeholders.
Acting as the primary contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints professionally is also crucial. Additionally, monitoring market trends and competitors, sharing insights to support strategic decisions, maintaining accurate customer data and documentation in CRM systems, representing the company at trade shows and cross-functional meetings, and collaborating with cross-functional global teams to execute regional strategy are all essential responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree in Optics, Electronics, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline combined with at least 5 years of proven success in technical sales within an industrial environment. A strong understanding of electronics, optical materials, and components, with the ability to translate technical specifications into customer solutions is essential.
Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals with high-value customers is also required. Fluency in English and skilled in building trustful relationships across functions and cultures within a matrix organization are necessary. Comfortable with market analysis, forecasting, and identifying new business opportunities; willingness to travel internationally as required is desirable.
