Your prospective job:
You are acting as a Landing Gear System Engineer (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.
Your responsibilities:
- Supporting the generation and maturation of Weapon System, Landing Gear System and Equipment-level technical, performance and Certification requirements
- Supporting the end-to-end development of Landing Gear equipment and assemblies
- Support to Landing Gear equipment and assembly integration activities
- Support to planning system/equipment-level Qualification activities and monitoring equipment/assembly-level physical test, modelling & simulation activities
- Supplier management, including oversight of Equipment Supplier performance and technical compliance
Your profile:
- Completed studies in aerospace, mechanical engineering or comparable
- Professional experience in aerospace and IT/information systems
- Experience in Landing Gear System Development
- Confident handling of MS-Office
- Experience with Catia V.0, Matlab, Simulink, IBM DOORS and Confluence/Jira
- Fluent Englisch spoken and written
- German is a plus
- Willingness to travel within Europe – mainly into France for business purposes about once/month on average
