Job Description: IT/Desktop Support Engineer
Work Timing: 9 AM to 6 PM LT (Mon to Friday)

We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to assist with a tech refresh project focused on imaging, installing, and deploying new Windows 10 computers.
Hardware Refresh Project:
Supports the rollout of new technologies within the IT department through various projects, including managing and executing Service Desk-specific tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive new computer shipments, enter them into asset manager, unbox, and configure (image) computers using SCCM. Deliver to inventory room and update asset manager.
- Schedule intake with customers to inventory physical items (docks, monitors, printers) and back up software/data in preparation for deployment.
- Configure new computers using tools like data backup software (Druva), OneDrive, and computer checklists.
- Deploy computers to local customers or ship to remote customers via UPS.
- Recover old devices from customers.
- Perform clean-up/wiping of hard drives and handle surplus equipment.
- Accurately document equipment/component failures, repairs, installations, and removals. Provide daily deployment updates (issues, feedback, etc.) to the project manager.
Other Responsibilities:
- Utilize ServiceNow to track and resolve requests in accordance with Service Level Objectives. Identify, research, and resolve technical issues.
- Hardware: Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, repair, and replace computer systems, desk phones, mobile devices, audio/visual systems, and other peripherals.
- Software: Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and evaluate company-approved applications.
- Active Directory: Administer computer and user accounts.
- Network: Basic troubleshooting.
- Phone System: Provide support for corporate telephone systems, desk phone setup, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Mobile Devices: Provide configuration, troubleshooting, and support for mobile devices, including tablets and smartphones.
