At Tanium, Partner Solution Architects thrive on solving problems and building new solutions for our partners that enable and enhance partner offerings using Tanium.
Responsibilities
* Identify, qualify and explore new ways for consultancies, systems integrators, and managed services providers to derive value from our platform.
* Work closely with partners to architect, develop and enhance partner services leveraging Tanium in alignment with our mutual business goals.
* Build and grow relationships with partners ranging from engineers to executive sponsors.
* Help partners re‑imagine services using the Tanium platform.
* Become an expert in partners’ solution and services offerings.
* Manage the technical relationship with key stakeholders at partner firms.
* Develop trust with all levels within partner organizations.
* Keep efforts moving forward and overcome institutional inertia.
* Teach partners how to use Tanium in their services.
* Demo, deploy, operationalize, and extend the Tanium platform.
* Solve problems and build new solutions (R&D).
* Address partners’ needs.
* Thrive in a team‑oriented culture while delivering significant individual contributions and collaborating with teammates.
* Think critically, spanning partners’ service development, creation, enablement and sales processes.
* Work closely with the Tanium Strategic Alliances Business Development team.
Qualifications
* BS degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience required.
* 6+ years of working with partners and integrating software solutions with service providers.
* Experience translating between the business and technology realms (e.g., pre‑sales engineering, consulting).
* Core technical understanding, developed through 5+ years of hands‑on experience in one or more of the following domains:
o Endpoint Security
o Endpoint Support / Troubleshooting
o Incident Response
o Systems Management
o Systems Administration
o Software Engineering
o Utility Scripting (e.g., bash, PowerShell, VBScript, Python, etc.)
* Broad knowledge across several technical domains, coupled with deep knowledge in one or more of the above areas.
* Ability to envision how technology can create or enhance business opportunities for service providers.
* Track record of driving projects from idea to implementation.
* Hands‑on Tanium experience is a major plus.
* Naturally team‑oriented with a mission‑first attitude.
