Senior Market Access Manager - Radiology (all genders)
The Senior Market Access Manager – Radiology (all genders) works with the access lead and/or other relevant stakeholders in the Radiology organization in co-creating and implementing global market access strategies for Bayer’s Radiology portfolio. This role ensures alignment with overall business objectives, maximizes asset value across key markets, and drives strategic initiatives that support pricing, reimbursement, and access for radiology solutions worldwide.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Co-create and implement global market access and pricing strategies for the Radiology portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and maximizing asset value across key markets
2. Lead cross-functional and cross-country radiology access projects, providing strategic direction and operational oversight throughout the product lifecycle, from early development to post-launch optimization
3. Represent Radiology Market Access in mission teams, solution chapters, and relevant product and customer teams, contributing to the development, governance, and continuous improvement of pricing, reimbursement, and access frameworks for radiology solutions
4. Drive transparency and communication of access challenges and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders globally, ensuring the needs of key customers, payers, and healthcare systems are understood and addressed
5. Develop and execute compelling value communication strategies for radiology solutions, leveraging clinical, real-world, and health economic evidence to support access and brand strategy
6. Monitor and anticipate trends in the external environment (e.g., regulatory, payer, and competitive landscape) to proactively shape access strategies and ensure the long-term commercial success of the radiology portfolio
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on product positioning, messaging, and overall market strategy
8. Prepare and present market access proposals and strategies to senior leadership and external stakeholders
WHO YOU ARE
9. Advanced academic degree (MBA, PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a relevant field
10. Extensive experience in market access, pricing, or health economics, with a strong track record in the radiology, diagnostics, or healthcare sector, preferably in a multinational environment
11. Demonstrated leadership in matrix organizations, with experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing at senior levels
12. Proven ability in strategic thinking, complex problem-solving, and delivering results in dynamic, global environments
13. Expertise in payer systems, evidence generation, value-based pricing, and sustainable patient access solutions
14. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
15. A proactive approach to identifying challenges and opportunities in market access, with a passion for improving patient access to healthcare solutions
16. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus
