Your job:
1. Industry specific requirement management focussed on market, customer and technology trends to develop a product portfolio (technical roadmap) for the semiconductor industry (Product focus and experience in controlled pneumatics / pneumatic automation)
2. Definition of the specific product requirements of the semiconductor industry and ensuring implementation in the product development process
3. Interface between customers, sales, development, and operations. Translating complex technical requirements into a comprehensible format for all stakeholders involved.
4. Carrying out product launch activities together with the relevant business units and national subsidiaries
5. Coordination of development projects with lead customers (SKA, FKA) and the development departments at Festo
6. Identification and verification of industry-specific future trends of main customers and ensuring the transfer of information to the company
7. Participation in the definition of new product concepts with a focus on specific materials, precision requirements, cleanroom suitability as well as costs and product availability
8. Participation in the design and implementation of Product Competence Meetings to define new product requirements
9. Representative of Festo at industry associations (SEMI) to ensure that Festo requirements are taken into account when defining new product standards
10. Regular close cooperation to build, expand and maintain customer relationships with internationally networked main customers of Festo
11. Occasional collaboration with representatives of associations, universities and research institutes in the course of projects, definition of guidelines/standards and innovative customer projects
Your qualifications:
12. Successfully completed studies in engineering, electrical engineering, automation, process engineering, or comparable qualification
13. Several years of professional experience in automation technology in the semiconductor industry
14. Technical understanding of product requirements, ideally with experience in material, cleanroom and vacuum requirements
15. Good industry, product and application knowledge in the field of automation, special product knowledge in proportional control / pneumatic automation and control technology
16. Professional management skills are an advantage
17. Fluent English skills, another foreign language is an advantage
18. High willingness to travel
