This master thesis opportunity is part of the HFE Development and In-Service Programs team, responsible for developing innovative Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) for various platforms.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated master student to conduct research on sensible interaction devices. The main objective is to design an interaction device that can handle both multi-dimensional input and output data, enabling users to interact with computer-based data without looking at a display.
The ideal candidate will have experience in development of hardware user interfaces with microcontrollers, such as Arduino, and basic programming skills. A good understanding of human factors engineering principles and concepts is essential.
The successful candidate will be part of our collaborative team, working closely with engineers and developers to create innovative solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Enrolled student in Human Factors Engineering or a related field
* Fluent in English and German
* Experience in hardware user interface development
* Basic programming skills
