The Field Medical Advisor will serve as a crucial link between Moderna and the medical and healthcare community in Germany, establishing and nurturing relationships with healthcare practitioners, policy makers, payers, patient groups, and healthcare administrators. You will focus on improving patient outcomes by sharing the science behind Moderna's mRNA platform through peer-to-peer scientific exchange. With a strong emphasis on building trust and engagement via personalized and digital interactions, you will drive forward Moderna’s mission to deliver cutting-edge mRNA-based therapies and vaccines.

Here’s What You’ll Do:
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Developing and implementing tailored Scientific Engagement Plans to share Moderna’s scientific messages effectively, aligned with company strategy.
* Utilizing exceptional communication skills to explain complex scientific topics to diverse audiences, leveraging tools such as Moderna's Scientific Communications Platform and generative AI.
* Generating medical insights to understand key trends, drivers, and stakeholder dynamics in the healthcare ecosystem.
* Engaging with Key Opinion Leaders, scientific societies, public health institutions, patient advocacy groups, and more to gather valuable insights and provide scientific support.
Your responsibilities will also include:
* Sharing up-to-date scientific narratives and data across Moderna’s therapeutic areas, including clinical trials and research findings.
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals to identify and address unmet patient needs, proposing solutions that improve patient care and outcomes.
* Leading and executing medical engagement activities such as advisory boards, partnerships, and round tables.
* Adhering to compliance protocols, ensuring ethical interactions, and reporting as needed for product quality and adverse events.

* Collaboration and Training: Work closely with internal teams, physicians, and other stakeholders to drive initiatives, share knowledge, and contribute to internal training efforts.
Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications):
* Masters in Scientific Discipline Required
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in Medical Affairs or field medical roles
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications):
* Experience in medical affairs and / or clinical development and / or market access, preferably with mRNA vaccines, immunology or infectious diseases.
* MD, PhD, PharmD preferred
* Established relationships within the medical community and a strong understanding of healthcare ecosystems.
* Demonstrated ability to navigate compliance frameworks and interact ethically within a field-based role.
* Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
* Fluent in English and German.
* Willing to travel up to 75% within the assigned region, must reside near a major airport.
* Proficiency in digital technology and familiarity with virtual presentation platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.Top of Form
