Your tasks
4. Firmware development: Conception, design and implementation of hardware-related firmware in C for high-precision measuring systems and positioning drives.
5. Product life cycle: Holistic support of embedded software from the initial product idea through the development of algorithms to series production readiness.
6. Quality assurance: Systematic testing of the developed solutions, ensuring excellent code quality, and sound evaluation of test and measurement results.
7. Innovation & Agility: Proactively contributing to the design of new functionalities for the next product generation in an interdisciplinary, agile working environment (Scrum).
Your profile
8. Experience: You must have at least 10 years of professional experience in embedded software development and ideally have gained experience in various corporate environments during this time.
9. Qualification: Completed studies (computer science, electrical engineering, embedded systems) or a comparable in-depth qualification.
10. Core skills: Excellent knowledge of embedded programming in C and the design of complex algorithms.
11. Hardware expertise: Solid knowledge of digital and analog circuit technology as well as industrial measurement technology, sensors and/or actuators.
12. Interfaces & OS: * Knowledge of common protocols (e.g. CAN, CANopen, IO-Link, Profibus, SPI or SAE J1939 ) is a great advantage.
Experience with real-time operating systems ( RTOS ) is desirable.
13. Soft Skills & Methodology: Independent working style, great enjoyment of family-like teamwork, experience in requirements management and very good German and good English skills.
