What the Role Involves
The Payroll & HR Assistant will be the central point of communication with external payroll providers across Europe, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. The role also includes supporting HR initiatives, maintaining compliance with company policies, and managing sensitive and confidential information. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone detail-oriented and highly organised, who thrives in an international, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & HR Support
* Serve as primary liaison with external payroll providers across Europe.
* Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and systems.
* Manage company benefits and contribute to HR initiatives.
* Support employee time recording processes and maintain accurate records.
* Assist in organising and executing company events.
General Administration & Compliance
* Support tender processes and maintain related documentation.
* Ensure internal policies remain up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
* Assist with travel bookings, reporting, and general administrative tasks.
Who They Are Looking For
* Completed commercial education or equivalent.
* 3–5 years of payroll experience in Germany; international payroll experience is a plus.
* Strong communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal.
* Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information.
* Organised, proactive, and collaborative with a solution-oriented mindset.
