Tasks:
* Develop and maintain end‑to‑end system architectures that align with programme objectives and stakeholder requirements.
* Lead system design activities following the V‑Model, covering concept development through verification and validation.
* Apply Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques to support system definition, trade‑off analyses, and requirements modelling.
* Manage system requirements and traceability using tools such as IBM DOORS.
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including hardware, software, safety, and integration specialists.
* Define and manage enterprise architecture frameworks to ensure consistency across platforms and capabilities.
* Present complex architectural concepts clearly to senior stakeholders, customers, and programme leadership.
Experience:
* Proven experience as a Systems Architect or similar role within the defence, aerospace, or security sector.
* Strong understanding and practical application of V‑Model systems engineering.
* Expertise with MBSE tools and methods (e.g., SysML, Cameo, Capella).
* Proficiency with IBM DOORS for requirement management and traceability.
* Experience developing enterprise architecture artefacts and frameworks.
* Background working in highly regulated environments with rigorous safety, security, and compliance standards.
* Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
