Position title: Communications, Content & Media Technology Intern (f/m/d) for the SAP Labs Berlin

You will be part of the SAP Labs Berlin team. As a Communications, Content & Media Technology Intern / Diploma Student (f/m/d), you will support the team’s COO with internal and external communications for our strategic Berlin location, as well as supporting in creating an innovative media experience our inhouse Content Management System (CMS). You will be responsible to create and design of visual appealing communication assets in digital and print while fostering SAP’s overall brand experience. Focus is the positioning of SAP in the local ecosystem to attract the best talents, shape the image of SAP as an innovation leader and foster its position as market leader for enterprise application software.
In this role, you’ll:
1. Creating multimedia content (videos, visuals, written pieces) for both internal and external audiences, aligned with our innovation communications strategy and brand messaging
2. Supporting the development of content such as blog posts, videos, newsletters, and other storytelling formats
3. Developing creative, engaging multi-channel campaigns on topics relevant to SAP’s Berlin ecosystem
4. Monitoring internal and external communication activities, analyzing KPIs, and identifying data-driven opportunities for growth and improvement
5. Planning, scheduling, and managing content across various channels, ensuring consistency in tone, messaging, and editorial planning
6. Designing digital internal assets such as banners, email invitations (CMS), and event materials to foster an inspiring employee experience
7. Managing our in-house media system, including the conceptualization, editing, and delivery of video and motion graphic content (CMS)
Who you are:
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
8. Studying preferably in the fields: Communications and/or Marketing, Social Sciences, Humanities, Visual Communications, Communications Design
9. Proficiency in major social media platforms and understanding of best practices
10. Experience managing social media for enterprise-level organizations (preferred)
11. Strong editorial and writing skills across formats (photo, video, text)
12. Proven experience in video editing; ability to conceptualize, edit, and finalize engaging video content for various channels
13. A keen eye for visual storytelling, with a creative mindset and a drive to bring new ideas to life
14. Solid computer skills, especially across all Microsoft Office applications
15. Strong soft skills: Collaborative team player, creative thinker, confident presenter and communicator; motivated, flexible, and open to ad-hoc tasks; passionate about content creation
16. Ability to break down complex topics and translate them into engaging, easy-to-understand content from concept to execution
17. Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workload efficiently
18. Hands-on mentality with the ability to work independently, proactively, and as part of an interdisciplinary team
19. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD), PowerPoint, Keynote, and Canva is a plus
20. Language skills: English proficiency required; German is a plus
21. Start date: As soon as possible
