Compliance Lead
Location: Stuttgart
Our client is seeking an experienced Compliance Lead to develop and manage a group-wide compliance management system across domestic and international subsidiaries. This role involves leading a compliance team, driving risk mitigation, and serving as the key contact for all compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategically develop and implement the compliance management system across the group.
* Build and lead a high-performing compliance team and optimise compliance processes.
* Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on compliance issues.
* Conduct compliance risk assessments, define mitigation actions, and design cross-functional risk monitoring processes, including AI tool utilisation.
* Manage whistleblower reports and lead internal investigations in coordination with Legal, HR, and Internal Audit.
* Prepare management reports, support audits and certifications.
Your Profile:
* Degree in law, economics, or equivalent, with several years of relevant compliance experience.
* Proven expertise in managing group-wide compliance systems and core components.
* Experience in building or transforming compliance functions and teams.
* Analytical, structured, and proactive work style with strong decision-preparation skills and follow-through.
* Confident communicator, able to engage stakeholders at all levels with clear, solution-focused dialogue.
* Fluent in German and English.
