Job Description
Your responsibilities include:
1. Developing and implementing a multi‑year technology strategy aligned with the group's commercial and operational ambitions.
2. Professionalising software development by introducing structure, testing frameworks, version control, modular architectures and quality assurance processes.
3. Driving productisation by creating standardised hardware and software building blocks that reduce complexity and enable efficient scaling.
4. Strengthening solution design as a differentiator during the pre‑sales phase, ensuring concepts are feasible, competitive and well‑substantiated.
5. Leading and developing the engineering organisation across software, PLC/controls, system design and product management.
6. Creating engineering governance, technical standards and quality gates that reduce late changes, rework and commissioning issues.
7. Ensuring strong alignment with Sales, Project Execution and Service to secure deliverable and serviceable technical solutions.
8. Managing resource allocation within the engineering and software teams to balance customer projects with internal development.
9. Acting as technology authority in leadership forums, contributing to strategic decisions, investment priorities and long‑term product direction.
