Key Responsibilities
1. Lead global impact assessments for chemical and related regulations, translating regulatory changes into clear business implications and action plans.
2. Drive regulatory foresight and horizon scanning, identifying upcoming and emerging regulations early and supporting long-term compliance and portfolio strategy.
3. Actively monitor, interpret, and communicate future regulatory trends and legislative developments at a global level.
4. Manage global chemical registrations and notifications, including planning, coordination, and execution across regions.
5. Manage regulatory dossiers using IUCLID, REACH-IT, and other regulatory platforms.
6. Serve as a senior advisor to business by providing guidance on regulatory compliance topics.
7. Handle complex customer and internal regulatory queries with a solution-oriented and business-focused approach.
8. Contribute to the development and improvement of regulatory processes, tools, and programs.
9. Apply strong project and program management skills to lead regulatory initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Your Profile
10. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, Environmental Science, or a related scientific discipline.
11. Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in Regulatory Affairs within the chemical or related regulated industries.
12. Proven experience managing global chemical regulations and compliance activities, including registrations, notifications, and regulatory assessments.
13. Demonstrated expertise in regulatory foresight, and interpretation of upcoming and evolving regulations.
14. Demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively, and with a “go-getter” mindset, while knowing when to align and collaborate.
15. High level of resilience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex regulatory challenges in a dynamic environment.
16. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate complex regulations into practical guidance.
17. Confident user of SAP, MS Office and project management tools.
18. Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
19. Advantageous: experience with Toxicology or Ecotoxicology
