Allianz' Global Mobility seamlessly transfers employees across borders by managing all matters of international employment for all businesses, globally. We are responsible for the strategic development of international mobility programs, policies, processes and their implementation and administration.
How can you make an impact?
We are seeking a Global Mobility Consultant (m/f/d) consulting and supporting our business along the entire global mobility lifecycle including a special focus on cross-border matters of our LTI program with following key responsibilities:
* Manage all types of international moves at various hierarchical levels within the area of responsibility throughout the entire mobility life-cycle
* Pro-actively engage with internal stakeholders in a key account role for particular global lines and business divisions
* Consult HR professionals, business managers, local Global Mobility Coordinators and mobility candidates in all matters regarding Global Mobility, finding appropriate mobility solutions which meet the needs of the business and employees whilst fulfilling compliance requirements of both home and host countries
* Understand and apply the various global (assignment) policies, country compensation and benefit structures, legal, tax, social security and immigration requirements of the various home/ host country combinations
* Interface with tax advisors and other external suppliers on a daily basis to manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations
* Prepare and administer all relevant documents, including cost estimates, balance sheets, payroll instructions as well as international assignment letters
* Manage & coordinate the Year End Cycle activities of our LTI program for all cross-border cases together with a tax advisor and local compensation coordinators
* Manage or participate in special mobility related projects and actively support in various strategic initiatives
* Engage to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor / Master degree or equivalent, preferably in related field
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; German is a plus
* Thorough understanding of the mobility life-cycle and expert knowledge of related compliance topics (legal, tax, social security and immigration), compensation and benefit structures
* Considerable experience (4+ years) in consulting on mobility solutions in accordance with standards and the associated challenges within a large organization
* Thorough understanding of international tax legislation; experience in international matters of an LTI program is a plus
* Relevant project management experience, experience in vendor management and/ or implementation of IT tools
* Strong customer service orientation
* Able to work independently with appropriate level of communication and stakeholder management
* Solid delivery focus with the ability to see the “big picture”
* Sound process orientation essential
* Effective interpersonal skills, team player, counselling and conflict resolution skills
* Comfortable operating at a fast pace and dealing with change, flexible and thinking outside the box
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
* Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
