Stress Engineer (f/m/d)
For our well-known customer Airbus, we are looking for a new team member!
Your Tasks
* Analysis of structural parts, components and installations made from metal and carbon fiber using state-of-the-art analysis tools, FEM techniques and classic handbook methods
* Trade off analysis for different design solutions and concepts
* Preparation of analysis reports and statements to support airframe qualification
* Support to define test requirements and means of compliance
* Assessment of damages and development of repairs for in-service A/C
* Support of the Design Office and Mechanical System installation
* Communication to relevant stakeholders and departments
Your Profile
* Degree in engineering or in aerospace or equivalent
* Professional experience in aerospace and stress engineering
* Good knowledge of common stress analysis methods
* Knowledge of design principles and manufacturing processes as well as materials (metals and fiber composites) is desirable
* In-depth knowledge of FE modeling techniques, including pre- and post-processing, is required
* Relevant experience in the application of specific tools for stress and fatigue analysis is mandatory
