WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
1. Development and management of the “Network Services” department
2. Responsibility for network services with a focus on DC-LAN, LAN, WAN, security services in an international environment
3. Optimization and harmonization of IT services, taking into account new technologies and trends
4. Collaboration with other service and process managers to ensure the smooth running of services and IT processes
5. Ensuring the transfer of know-how from the current service provider
6. Taking over operations from the current external service provider and responsibility for independent internal continuation
7. International coordination of topics, integration and technical management of the teams in the foreign locations (matrix organization)
8. Standardization and harmonization of network services
9. Responsible for the implementation and support of network projects
10. Close coordination and cooperation with the other divisions of Rheinmetall IT Solutions GmbH
11. Coordination of external service providers
The position can be filled at the locations Berlin, Düsseldorf, Kassel, Kiel, Unterlüß, Bremen and Neuenstadt or remotely if necessary.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
12. Completed studies with a focus on information technology or business administration or comparable training
13. Many years of professional experience in the field of IT operations / network operations and/or in comparable areas of responsibility
14. Several years of professional and disciplinary management of teams
15. Experience in managing external service providers
16. Methodical knowledge and ideally certification in project management and ITIL
17. Ability to work under pressure and willingness to go the extra mile
18. Enjoy the task of taking employees (m/f/d) along in the transformation and developing them further
19. Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills in German and English
20. Willingness to travel to other locations
