WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Monitoring of end-to-end processes in the accounts payable area of the group
* Ensuring proper periodic accounting as well as the quality and reliability of P&L and balance sheet positions
* Taking on project responsibility for the further development and optimization of ongoing accounting processes (interfaces)
* Assessing accounting and tax-related issues, business transactions, and matters
* Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
* Collaborating with auditors and tax advisors
WHO YOU ARE
* Completed commercial training, preferably with further qualification as a certified accountant/tax specialist or a degree, along with relevant professional experience in accounts payable accounting (at least 3+ years)
* Knowledge of HGB and German tax laws
* Proficient in common MS Office applications, especially Excel
* Experience with DATEV or similar finance and accounting software is a strong plus
* Quick comprehension and strong process understanding, combined with a careful, independent, and structured working style
* Very good German skills and good English skills
