Job Description
We are looking for a colleague as a Senior Manager Sustainability Reporting (m/f/diverse) joining our sustainability reporting team at the Automotive Sector in either Frankfurt am Main or Hannover, Germany. You will focus on social and financial sustainability matters, governing the assurance process for sustainability reporting and support producing the annual sustainability report for future AUMOVIO, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of information.
Your tasks will also include the following activities:
1. Responsibility for the social and financial matters in the mandatory sustainability report (ESG-chapter and ESG-annex) within the annual report
2. Manage key processes of sustainability accounting such as definition of metrics, aligning and documenting data collection processes, consolidation, definition and execution of controls as well as effective evidence and audit handling to ensure accuracy of disclosures
3. Prepare the related qualitative disclosures of social and financial matters and execute editorial tasks in alignment with the goal of fact-based storytelling and assurance readiness, considering regulatory requirements
4. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reports for qualitative and quantitative disclosure
5. Responsibility for the integration of the reporting obligations according to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), the EU Taxonomy Regulation and other requirements into the relevant reporting processes with the focus on social and financial matters
6. Connect financial and non-financial reporting obligations in alignment with financial reporting team
7. Maintain the network for sustainability accounting and reporting and serve as reliable partner for social and financial matters
8. Manage the overall assurance process for sustainability reporting including effective audit planning, monitoring, audit execution and escalations within the given timeline
9. Handle key risks from definition to report integration for effective audit trails.
10. Act as substitute for the head of sustainability reporting
Qualifications
The ideal candidate (m/f/diverse) will possess the following qualifications:
11. Academic degree in sustainability, economics, finance, accounting or comparable qualification
12. Several years of experience in the areas of finance and accounting, controlling, corporate strategy, and/or sustainability management of an industrial company
13. Several years of experience in corporate reporting, preferred financial and/or sustainability reporting
14. Several years of experience in data collections and consolidation
15. Several years of experience with managing external assurance processes
16. Extensive knowledge of the relevant regulatory and other requirements (esp. ESRS, EU Taxonomy, HGB, DRS 20, GRI, SASB, IFRS, SFRD)
17. Professional use of MS Office programs (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and SAP, Power BI knowledge of Advantage
18. Fluent language skills in German and English (both written and spoken)
19. Intrinsic motivation to navigate in highly complex processes and requirements
20. Working style, combining a focus on details as well as keeping a highly structured overview
21. Excellent communication, moderation and presentation skills
22. Good analytical and conceptual skills
23. Strong sense of ownership and accountability to area of responsibility
