We are now looking for a Senior Turnaround Sourcing Specialist to join our team in Wrocław, Poland.

What you will do
1. Take care about typical turnaround relevant needs e.g. mechanical services, scaffolding, cleaning, insulation, crane work, pipe material, seals, spare parts, plant equipment etc.
2. Be responsible for independent coordination with the turnaround and maintenance team
3. Be able to regularly travel to Leuna for internal coordination as well as bidder meetings during the preparation, execution and follow-up phases
4. Plan, manage and execute sourcing events (RFI, RFQ) for the in Germany located company UPM Biochemicals GmbH
5. Provide expertise, guide and influence stakeholders in driving complex sourcing projects
6. Create competitive sourcing tactics for sourcing event execution
7. Identify proactively opportunities to reduce spend and optimize supply base
8. Analyse and evaluate supplier's performance, manage supply base
9. Use Ariba platform to enhance sourcing event execution
10. Ensure efficient, effective Source-to-Contract process implementation in your everyday work
Who you are
11. You have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in (industrial) engineering, (technical) business administration or other relevant professional qualification in the related area
12. You have at least 5 years of work experience in turnaround sourcing e.g. as a sourcing specialist related to materials and services in the chemical industry, in the area of turnaround/shutdown needs
13. You are fluent in English and German and you have experience in working at German market, with German suppliers and German contracts
14. You have strong experience of e-sourcing tools like SAP 4/Hana, Ariba and SBN.
15. You have knowledge about legal requirements in German chemical industrial sector
16. You are proactive, service-oriented person with strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
17. You have a general technical understanding of typical industrial needs
18. You show assertiveness against internal stakeholders and suppliers
19. You have good collaboration and team-working skills, you have self-management skills and are not afraid to take initiative and challenge the status quo
