We are seeking an experienced Lab Scientist to join our protein production team based in Munich, Germany. Collaborating closely with various departments at Crelux, you will work on protein expression projects involving diverse methods and target classes. Your primary responsibilities will include the maintenance of various insect cell lines, the production of baculoviruses as well as the planning, execution and analysis of protein production at various scales. Master (m/f/d), Bachelor (m/f/d), Technical assistants (m/f/d; MTA, BTA, cm, PTA, ATA, LTA) Hands-on experience in insect cell culture (e.g., Sf21, Sf9, High Five), ideally in an industry setting, mammalian cell culture experience is a strong plus Sound understanding of gene-to-protein processes and molecular biology fundamental Knowledge of protein expression platforms, viral vectors, and cell-based assays Familiarity with protein purification and QC workflows Familiarity with common lab software and IT tools (MS Office, LIMS, etc.) Strong problem-solving skills, independence and a proactive work ethic Excellent time management and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus Culturing and maintaining insect cell lines for recombinant protein production Supporting mammalian cell expression and stable cell line development Performing recombinant protein production purification and quality control Applying techniques such as DNA preparation, protein purification and chromatography Conducting QC analyses using SDS-PAGE and Western blotting Accurately documenting, analyzing and interpreting experimental data Collaborating with scientists and project teams across various disciplines We offer: A permanent contract (starting as soon as possible) with a competitive salary, modern office workspaces and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative contract research environment.
