As Buying Assistant (m/f/d) you will support the purchasing team actively and with passion in the administrative day-to-day business. In particular, you will
* be involved in the communication with national and international suppliers as well as our internal departments
* take over the coordination of assortment-related Point of Sale (POS) activities
* check and enrich all relevant purchasing data in close cooperation with our master data team and prepare monthly evaluations and analyses
* check incoming invoices and take over the clarification of invoice discrepancies with our suppliers
* assist in order preparation and post-processing as well as assortment creation and prepare sales lists and analyses, LOT analysis, budget inquiry as well as order and order sheets
* support in the preparation of presentations for meetings
Preferred Profile
* A successfully completed commercial apprenticeship or bachelor degree and first experience in purchasing in an international trading company
* Ideally experience in dealing with customers and suppliers
* Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and ideally experience in working with SAP
* Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
* A high degree of service orientation and enjoyment of administrative tasks
* Excellent communication skills, which makes it easy for you to communicate beyond your own team
