VESTIGAS is a fast-growing startup offering a supply chain operating system for the construction industry. Our solution is the digital, independent and legally secure platform for orders, delivery notes, and invoices. This will allow us to save >10bn € of costs and several million tons of CO2 in Germany alone. VESTIGAS is already used by 15 of the top 20 construction companies and 16 of the top 20 suppliers in the German construction industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and oversee VESTIGAS’s finance, legal, and people operations, ensuring the company’s foundation is strong, scalable, and compliant.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies, budgeting processes, and forecasting models to support business growth and sustainability.
3. Own cash flow management, funding strategy, and financial reporting, ensuring transparency and alignment with stakeholders.
4. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including corporate governance, data protection, and contract management.
5. Negotiate, draft, and manage key contracts and agreements, working closely with external legal advisors when necessary.
6. Shape and lead the people strategy, including talent acquisition, development, and retention, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture.
7. Oversee payroll, benefits, and compensation strategies to ensure they are competitive and aligned with company objectives.
8. Act as a trusted advisor to the founding team, providing strategic insights across finance, legal, and HR to support informed decision-making.
9. Establish and continuously improve policies, processes, and tools to streamline operations and enhance efficiency across all managed areas.
Work directly with Paul & Julian, our Co-CEOs. Both have successfully founded 3 companies before VESTIGAS, >7 years of experience in Business Development in the construction industry, and developed the concept for VESTIGAS in a research project at TUM.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven leadership experience in finance, legal, and people operations, ideally in a fast-growing startup or dynamic environment.
2. Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
3. Deep understanding of legal frameworks, compliance requirements, and contract negotiation in a corporate environment.
4. Solid experience in HR and people management, with a track record of fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
5. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
6. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
7. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
8. Fluency in German is required, and proficiency in English is essential.
