Database Administrator Role
The Database Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance and security of our database environments. They manage daily operations, handle incidents, implement changes and maintain high service quality for customers.

Manage day-to-day database operations to ensure optimal stability and performance.

Handle service requests, resolve incidents, and implement necessary changes to meet business needs.
* Install, configure and maintain database system software to support business operations effectively.
* Execute and manage database migrations to enhance data consistency and integrity.
* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize database efficiency for better results.
* Perform regular database refreshes as required by business needs to maintain up-to-date information.
* Ensure proper access control and permission management to safeguard database security.
* Manage backup and recovery of databases using Oracle RMAN to ensure full disaster recovery capability.
* Configure and administer Oracle High Availability solutions using RAC & Data Guard to minimize downtime.
* Propose and implement improvements for database maintenance, reliability, performance and security to continually enhance the environment.
