WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
In our Global Product Management unit, we actively shape the strategic direction of our global product portfolio in the Performance Chemicals business. Together with international partners along the entire value chain, we drive innovation, profitability, and sustainable growth.
* In your new role, you lead the global team for the Strategic Business Unit Light Stabilizers and are responsible for global price management by reviewing supply and demand, deriving pricing guidelines and global limits, and ensuring positive margins, high asset utilization, and profitable volume and value growth in line with budget and long-term strategy with full global P&L responsibility.
* You optimize global supply and production costs by managing asset utilization and inventories, allocating volumes in shortage or force majeure situations, and further developing global make-or-buy, co-manufacturing, tolling, product and production strategies.
* Furthermore, you analyze and steer the product portfolio by initiating positioning and optimization measures, driving portfolio development, identifying market trends, closing portfolio gaps, and supporting innovation and product development projects through to market launch.
* Additionally you develop, implement and monitor product and main group strategies in line with the global SBU strategy and initiate corrective actions where necessary. You initiate restructuring and investment projects and support strategic initiatives through sound commercial evaluations.
* Last but not least, you drive all portfolio-related topics cross-functionally into the regional organizations and ensure close alignment with Supply Chain, Marketing, IPM, PS&R as well as other interfaces.
WHAT YOU OFFER
* completed master’s degree in chemistry, materials science, business administration or a related field
* at least ten years of professional experience, ideally across various functions such as marketing, sales, product management, R&D, production or controlling
* strong analytical skills as well as experience in planning, budgeting and controlling, and in leading teams
* excellent English skills and strong communication abilities
* team player with intercultural competence and willingness to travel occasionally
