The treasury and tax office provides the financial foundation for one of Germany's largest cities. The "IT Finance, Fundamentals and Applications" department forms the interface between IT and the specialist departments and is responsible for the procurement of hardware and software. IT contract and license management, IT principles, IT security and data protection are also tasks of the department. Applications in the areas of budget planning and financial services, purchasing and procurement management products as well as around 20 other specialist processes, many of them city-wide, are provided and supported.

Developing, planning, coordinating and organizing the use, administration and support of the above-mentioned IT processes
IT project management for the further development of applications and the introduction of new technologies
Regularly carrying out technical audits of IT applications
Supervising, advising and supporting users and managers in matters relating to the use, continuation and expansion of IT procedures for the area of responsibility
Completed, relevant university degree (Bachelor) in IT or completed training as an IT specialist with many years of professional experience
