We are currently recruiting for the position of IT Infrastructure Architect (m/f/d) in our Information Technology department in Cologne.
Tasks
* You develop and document system environments in hybrid IT infrastructures (cloud and on-premise)
* You ensure the active reuse of technologies and systems already used in the company in new projects as well as the manageability of the technologies used
* You design and ensure a higher-level IT infrastructure that meets requirements
* You define, maintain and communicate a technology roadmap and have a holistic view of the technology portfolio
* You support the solution architects and service managers in selecting technology for operations
* You help the module managers and solution architects with the transition to operations
* You create and maintain an overview of the system architectures
* You work on projects and take on (partial) project management roles
Profile
* You have a master's or diploma degree or an adequate qualification in the field of information technology
* You have experience with possible applications of technologies in the IT infrastructure environment and the transfer of solutions into suitable architectures
* You have knowledge in the conception of requirements in network and telecommunications infrastructures
* You are experienced in creating complex technical concepts and architecture recommendations as well as the consistent integration of technologies into the existing technology portfolio
* You have strong conceptual and analytical skills
* You are goal-oriented and have decision-making skills
* You have a strong ability to describe, present and convey complex issues in writing
* You have conflict resolution skills and grasp topics from an end-to-end perspective

This position is remunerated at pay group 12 in accordance with the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). For a full-time position, this corresponds to a gross annual salary of around 66,000 - 92,000 euros (depending on professional experience and qualifications).
