* Conduct statistical research in risk analysis and modelling complex actuarial data.
* Plan and manage quality research projects, supervising the research team in cooperation with the Professor.
* Initiate and conduct own research projects in the area of statistical modelling.
* Identify, apply for, and manage research funding as well as allocate project resources.
* Research dissemination at international conferences and to the actuarial industry.
* Teaching activity of up to 90 hours per year in the Master of Actuarial Science, developing new courses for the program.
* Contribute to student assessment activities, writing and reviewing assignments and questions for course components.
* Supervise master students carrying out practical work.
* Moderate dissertation supervisory committees.
* Actively participate in and support the organization of the activities of the research group Team MIDAS and DMATH.
Our requirements are:
* High-quality PhD in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, or Finance.
* Interest in interdisciplinary work, especially in actuarial/economic/finance research.
* Detailed knowledge of relevant models, techniques, and methods, and ability to develop new ones.
* Proven success in planning related work, building a team, and delivering research results.
* Able to formulate advice on and manage teaching and/or research programs/projects.
* Programming experience in languages such as Python or R.
* Very good written and oral communication skills in English.
* Capacity to integrate into a team and collaborate with its members.
