We are currently seeking an experienced and talented QA Engineer to join our high performing team. REPORTING TO: Contracts Manager LOCATION: Frankfurt, Germany CONTRACT TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent HOURS: Monday – Friday Role Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC procedures in alignment with project specifications, client requirements, and company Quality Management Systems. Ensure compliance with ISO standards, project quality plans, and regulatory requirements. Promote and maintain a strong culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the project. Support internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with QMS and client standards. Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Conduct inspections across Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works including but not limited to: Inspect and verify Mechanical and Electrical installations, including but not limited to: Ensure works are completed in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including: Ensure traceability of materials and installation processes. Manage and maintain quality dossiers, turnover documentation, and project QA records. Submittal & Technical reviews/ verify subcontractor submissions including: Ensure submissions comply with project specifications, design requirements, and applicable standards. Provide technical quality support to construction teams during installation and inspections. Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations from approved specifications or procedures. Track and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Work with construction teams and subcontractors to identify root causes and prevent recurrence. Verify that all materials delivered to site meet approved specifications and standards. Coordinate and review material testing, including concrete, steel, aggregates, and other construction materials. Ensure compliance with relevant standards/ project-specific standards. Coordinate with third-party laboratories and testing agencies to validate material performance. Review commissioning documentation and quality submissions for MEP systems and vendor packages. Coordinate with commissioning teams to ensure quality requirements are met Witness inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Liaise with construction teams, design consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives to resolve quality issues. Support site teams in implementing corrective actions and quality improvements. Participate in coordination meetings to address quality risks and construction challenges. Maintain and report quality KPIs and project quality metrics, including: Provide regular quality performance reports and dashboards to project management. Participate in project handover and closeout activities. Ensure completion and accuracy of: Support preparation of client turnover packages for data centre operational readiness. The Candidate Qualifications & Experience: Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Construction Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer on large-scale construction projects, ideally within data centres, industrial, pharmaceutical, or high-tech sectors. Strong understanding of CSA and MEP construction methods, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Experience developing and implementing QA/QC procedures and managing ITPs, inspections, and NCRs. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation across multiple disciplines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple work fronts. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technically complex, and deadline-driven project environment., Skills & Attributes: The ability to work as part of cross-functional teams. Excellent communicator, with ability to convey complex information well. The ability to create and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clients. Highly organised in relation to management of tasks and deadlines. Good attention to detail. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Additional information All candidates must have the Right to Work in the EU at the time of application. Proof of this will be required for any candidate who is successful in the role. This role will at time to time, require working in other locations, including construction sites or at client offices. A degree of flexibility is therefore required.
