About the role We are looking for a Composite Development Engineer (m/f/x) to join us on our mission to make lightweight components fit for the 21st century. You’ll work at the intersection of materials, automation, and robotics to help scale composite manufacturing processes of tomorrow. Are you excited to take ownership of complex manufacturing challenges and move fast from prototype to production? Do you want to work hands-on with fiber placement, robotic systems, and automation workflows — not just design them on paper? Do you thrive in fast-paced teams where tight feedback loops, real-world impact, and constant iteration are the norm? Are you looking to push boundaries in an execution-driven environment where your decisions matter? Then you will love Holy. What you will do Be part of a motivated engineering team to develop, industrialize, and automate the first upcyclable carbon fiber manufacturing technology. Design, test, and validate individual process steps as well as the entire production system. Develop and test new closed mould concepts and injection strategies with a focus on prototyping Work together with designers and automation engineers to create new manufacturing processes and the automation that enables them. Develop advanced composite solutions tailored to customer needs — from functional prototypes to scalable automation setups. Use the best equipment in our state-of-the-art workshop. Follow your intellectual curiosity and learn about new markets and technologies together with your co-workers. This role can grow into an expert, generalist, or team lead position — and we’ll regularly align on your personal development goals. What we are looking for You hold a Master's degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification. You like collaborating with others to develop our product and solve challenging problems. You have an autonomous working attitude and an urge to create with your own hands. You enjoy thinking holistically about systems, but also like to zoom in on technical details. You are fascinated by next-generation composite solutions and new material systems. You have experience working with composites and basic skills in CAD design. You have experience working with infusion, injection or hand layup and developing new manufacturing processes. You have experience working with or are curious to learn about closed mould design for RTM. You like to explore new solution approaches and appreciate an agile, fast-moving environment. You do not tick all the boxes? We are looking for driven candidates who most importantly add to our culture, and don’t just blend in. Feel free to submit an Unsolicited Application if you believe you are a fit. What we care about Honesty: Being authentic and honest creates trust toward colleagues, customers, and business partners. Optimism: Positivity is the fuel for all good decisions. Smile and spread positivity in the workplace. Do not take yourself too seriously and treat others with respect. Focus: Always separate unimportant from important. Focus on the impactful actions that lead to impactful results. Courage: Courage is the source of any big success. Stand up for your ideas, no matter how bold. Sustainability: Do it nice or do it twice. Consider the future consequences of your actions holistically. We win and fail together: Fail early, fail often, fail forward. Failure is where the lessons are. We overcome challenges as a team. What we offer Impact : Work on a meaningful solution in the fight against climate change with us. Growth : Learn from experienced colleagues, grow your knowledge, and expand your skills within your field or by entering new ones. Ownership : Take ownership and meaningfully shape an early-stage company. Competitive compensation : We believe in rewarding good work. Equity : We want you to become a part of us. Additional perks : We cover 50% of your costs for fitness (Wellpass), language courses, and the German public transport ticket. Pick your poison : Use the technical equipment of your choice including a meaningful home office set-up. Fun place to work : Enjoying work is crucial for us. About us Holy Technologies pioneers autonomous composite manufacturing to help manufacturers build radically better lightweight components. We are a European contract manufacturer specialized in ultralight load-bearing composite parts for automotive, aerospace, robotics and industrial manufacturing. Our proprietary Infinite Fiber Placement (IFP) technology enables cost-competitive production at mid-to-high volumes, delivering aramid and carbon fiber components that are fast to produce, scalable, and fully recyclable. IFP places continuous dry fibers along load-optimized trajectories calculated by proprietary software. This process delivers parts at minimum weight with enhanced mechanical performance. From prototypes to series production, we help teams move from CAD to finished parts in weeks instead of months, allowing our customers to innovate faster and stay ahead of competition.
