Your mission Lead a disruptive ultrastable microwave R&D project that aims to convert cutting-edge innovation into a product Participate in the implementation and characterization of a prototype Coordinate the cooperation with external project partners Build complex laser systems including free-space and fiber optics, mode-locked fiber lasers, frequency combs, vacuum components, and control electronics Contribute to the continuous development of current products to reach higher TRL, and conceive and realize new functionalities by exploring innovative applications Your profile Ph.D. in physics, photonics, laser technology, electrical engineering, or a related field, preferably with postdoctoral research experience or 2-3 years of industrial experience in the high-tech sector Comprehensive knowledge of mode-locked lasers, ideally optical frequency combs, ultra-stable and CW lasers, high-finesse cavities, and stabilization electronics, combined with several years of project management experience Systematic and analytical way of thinking Excellent communication skills and team spirit Open to occasional business trips Excellent English and German language skills Why us?
