We are recruiting on behalf of a leading, globally active investment firm with a long heritage in capital markets and a strong, growing European presence. The group combines more than a century of experience in advisory and brokerage with a dedicated focus on technology and growth companies, offering access to attractive mid‑market and high‑growth tech deal flow across Europe and the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, assess and execute technology and tech‑enabled investment opportunities with a focus on software, digital platforms and data‑driven business models.
* Lead core workstreams in due diligence, including market and competition analysis, KPI and unit economics reviews and assessment of technology aspects.
* Build and own detailed financial models, run scenarios and develop clear, independent views on valuation and returns.
* Prepare high‑quality investment materials and present your findings to senior decision makers within an established international investment platform.
* Drive transaction processes from first contact through structuring, documentation and closing in close cooperation with internal and external advisers.
* Support portfolio companies post‑investment on strategy, growth initiatives and performance steering, working directly with founders and management teams.
* Represent the firm in the German tech ecosystem and contribute to the development of thematic investment theses in selected technology verticals.
Your profile
* 3–7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, growth/venture capital, strategy consulting or a leading tech company.
* Strong transaction execution background and excellent skills in financial modelling, valuation and quantitative analysis.
* Genuine enthusiasm for technology, software, platforms and digital disruption, ideally with prior exposure to tech or growth stories.
* Structured, independent and hands‑on working style, comfortable managing several projects in parallel within a lean team.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build credibility with founders, senior management and international colleagues.
* Business‑fluent German (C1/C2, spoken and written) is mandatory; very good English is required for daily collaboration.
