Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and worldwide the biggest developer, producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.
DENV is Daikin’s sales, R&D, and production headquarters for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. The headquarter has Belgian offices in Brussels, Ghent and Ostend, as well as 8 production plants, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.
As a Business Controller within the Daikin Europe International Key Account (IKA) team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making, driving efficiency, and enabling data-driven customer management. You will act as a bridge between business and systems, providing commercial insights, financial control, and system optimization to enhance the performance and scalability of the IKA team.
The IKA environment is dynamic and evolving, requiring you to remain highly flexible and versatile. You will frequently contribute to the development of new processes and workflows, ensuring they are data-informed, scalable, and aligned with strategic goals.
Your primary challenge is to transform data into actionable intelligence that supports growth, improves customer retention, and increases operational excellence. You will take ownership of reporting automation, CRM development, rebate control, and the IKA budget follow-up while driving strategic initiatives that optimize key account performance and reduce manual workloads for the team.
You are expected to anticipate business needs, challenge the status quo, and act as a trusted partner to both internal IKA stakeholders, the wider DENV business, and external key accounts.

1. Drive KPI monitoring, budget control and performance review for the Key Account business.
2. Lead monthly EMEA Key Account reporting (sales, orders, pipeline) with enhanced visualization and automation.
3. Directly follow up progress of some customer framework agreements (including commercial rebate process)
4. Control IKA virtual PL and Cost Centre through regular deviation analysis and propose countermeasures where needed.
5. Develop, maintain, and improve external customer reporting and internal pricing files.
6. Support custom pricing models, tenders, and contract optimization with historical and predictive analysis.
7. Proactively identify sales trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic account development.
8. Streamline data integration across platforms (CRM, finance, sales tools) to provide a unified view of KA performance.
9. Automate reporting workflows to reduce manual tasks and enable self-service reporting for stakeholders.
10. Act as the IKA liaison for CRM, Corporate Planning, Business Analytics, and IT to drive system enhancements.
This is you
11. Master’s degree in business, finance, data analytics, or equivalent.
12. Prior experiencein business analysis, commercial reporting, or financial control, ideally in an international or matrix organization, is a plus
13. Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into business recommendations.
14. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment; experience working with evolving workflows or developing new processes is a strong advantage.
15. Skilled in data visualization, BI tools (e.g., Power BI), and CRM systems.
16. Experience with process automation, financial tracking, and reporting optimization is a strong plus.
17. You possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and you are comfortable working cross-functionally with IT, CRM, finance, and sales teams.
18. You are proactive, structured, and detail-oriented, with a continuous improvement (Kaizen) mindset.
19. Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
20. Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently.
21. Have strong organizational skills and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
