Your position
As Head of People & Culture Germany, you will lead the HR function during an important moment of transformation. Acting as a strategic partner to business leaders, you will shape and implement a future-ready HR strategy that aligns with both global priorities and local needs. You will guide a high-performing team of People & Culture professionals and HR Business Partners, fostering empowered, engaged, and high-impact teams across Germany. Your role will be instrumental in simplifying structures, enhancing operational efficiency, and continuing to build a collaborative and strong relationship with the Works Council. With deep expertise in German labor law and a strong change leadership mindset, you will drive impactful initiatives that support organizational growth and cultural evolution.
Your tasks
* Leading HR strategy and transformation, aligning with business goals and local labor law
* Building trust-based collaboration with various stakeholders
* Simplifying HR processes, ensuring compliance with German labor law, policies, and collective agreements
* Coaching and leading HR teams and leaders through change with empathy and clarity
* Collaborating closely with Payroll team
Your profile
* Minimum of 10 years of HR experience in Germany, including 5+ years in a leadership role
* Strong expertise in German labor and employment law (BetrVG, BGB, etc.)
* Proven experience negotiating with various stakeholders
* Experience in multinational environments and managing complexity across functions and levels
* Successful track record in leading HR transformation and organizational change initiatives
* Degree in HR, Law, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
* Solid SAP knowledge and experience is strongly required
Languages: German – fluent, English – fluent
Nice to have: Previous experience related to employee experience
