Job Description
The IT Service Portfolio Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the strategic alignment, transparency, and efficiency of IT services across the organization.
This includes guaranteeing that the portfolio reflects business priorities, information security aspects, supports informed decision-making, and drives the evolution of our IT service landscape in line with corporate goals.
In close collaboration with various stakeholders, including service owners, finance, information security, demand, and catalogue management functions, this role fosters cross-functional collaboration and transparency across all levels of the organization.

The IT Service Portfolio Manager is accountable for the structure, documentation, and strategic alignment of the IT Service Portfolio, encompassing current, future, and end-of-life services.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
1. Strategic responsibility for the alignment and continuous development of the IT Service Portfolio and its operability
2. Ensuring transparency and consistency across current, future, and end-of-life IT services
3. Defining and governing service design principles, structures, and documentation standards
4. Collaborating closely with financial management, IT controlling, demand management, service implementation, and operations
5. Supporting budgeting, cost allocation models, and service pricing mechanisms
6. Providing KPI-based regular IT service portfolio reporting (e.g. SLA compliance, utilization, financials, performance) and risk management
7. Driving the maturity of IT service management across the organization
8. Engaging with service owners, catalogue managers, and other portfolio stakeholders
9. Participating in regular meetings and workshops with adjacent departments such as service implementation and IT operation
10. Contributing your strengths: several years of experience in IT Service Mgt., Application Lifecycle Mgt., Portfolio or Catalogue Mgt.
11. University degree in business informatics or a comparable field
12. Practical experience in IT Service Mgt. frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT
13. ITIL Foundation certification (or higher), ideally complemented by COBIT certification
14. Strong analytical skills combined with a structured and quality-driven working style
15. Exceptional conceptual thinking and communication abilities
16. Experience in IT financial structures and service governance processes
17. Experience in the definition, negotiation, and implementation of SLAs and further KPIs
18. Fluent English skills in written and spoken form (ideally C1 level), German is a plus
