What you will be doing

1. Manage customer portfolio and key accounts
2. Drive new project acquisition and business development opportunities
3. Prepare, follow up, and negotiate customer offers and contracts
4. Lead sales activities within customer projects
5. Own budget planning and forecasting processes
6. Ensure proactive collaboration with internal departments, plants, and finance/debtor teams
7. Maintain CRM data and support sales administration tasks
8. Ensure compliance with customer-specific, quality, and HSE requirements
9. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
10. Prepare regular sales reports, KPIs, and performance insights
11. Support product launches, customer audits, and change management activities
12. Manage pricing, profitability analysis, and cost breakdowns
13. Drive customer satisfaction and lead escalation resolution processes
14. Support strategic account planning and long-term customer development roadmaps
15. Lead cross-functional meetings for key customer projects
16. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive standards and regulations
17. Perform additional responsibilities within the professional scope as required

What will make you successful?

18. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field
19. 5+ years of experience in key account management, preferably within the automotive or industrial sector
20. Proven track record in project acquisition, contract negotiation, and customer relationship management
21. Experience working with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or similar stakeholders
22. Familiarity with CRM systems, budgeting tools, and automotive compliance standards
23. Fluent German and English language skills are mandatory; additional languages are an advantage
24. Japanese or Korean language skills are considered a plus
25. Experience with aluminum and extrusion is an advantage
26. Strong sales and business development (“hunter”) mindset
27. Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
28. Strong ability to understand and translate customer requirements
29. Strong negotiation, contract management, and strategic relationship management skills
30. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
31. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt in dynamic environments
32. Good understanding of Asian business culture
