Purpose: Design and implement scalable, reliable, and integrated PLM systems architecture for LIXIL. The Solution Architect (m/f/d) will play a key role in defining the global PLM roadmap, system requirements, evaluating technologies, and developing solutions to enable LIXIL’s PLM strategy and satisfy business needs. Main Responsibilities: Support the Global PLM Leader in developing and managing PLM strategies and a multi-year PLM technology roadmap. Define PLM system requirements based on business objectives, user needs, and regulatory requirements. Evaluate and recommend PLM technologies, platforms, and tools to support system architecture goals; work closely with the development team (Application Consultants) to conduct research and collect data. Define PLM system architecture and components, including: Data models Workflows Integrations User interfaces Design and implement PLM integrations with enterprise systems such as: PDM CAx PPM PIM CRM Apply LIXIL's architectural and data governance standards and ensure global consistency and maintainability. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of business requirements, technical solutions, and PLM strategy. Work with IT to ensure availability, scalability, and security of the PLM system (including system/OS maintenance, upgrades, patches). Monitor KPIs related to PLM operations and take corrective actions when necessary. Conduct system performance analysis and optimization. Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to the development team (Application Consultants). Oversee vendor interactions and enforce data governance compliance. Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their potential impact. Job Requirements: Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus). several years of experience in IT systems architecture. Experience with leading PLM platforms such as: SAP ECTR PTC Windchill Siemens Teamcenter Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA Other Key Requirements: Deep understanding of PLM concepts and best practices. Experience designing and implementing complex, distributed PLM systems. Strong skills in system design: scalability, reliability, performance, and security. Proficiency with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of networking protocols, security standards, and data management technologies. Strong SAP knowledge: Functional or SAP BASIS background Knowledge of S/4HANA suite and SAP Cloud applications Ability to describe end-to-end SAP processes and integration points Hands-on implementation experience, including 3 full project lifecycles across multiple SAP modules. Experience coordinating multiple workstreams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Agile methodology experience (Scrum Master experience on 1–2 cycles is a plus). Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Certifications (nice to have): SAP Certification in S/4HANA ITIL Certification SAP Enterprise Architect TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) Fluent German and English required
