Responsibilities
1. Overseas Supplier Development & Qualification
* Develop, evaluate, and onboard key equipment and service suppliers across Europe and other overseas markets.
* Build and maintain a strategic supplier pool for critical ESS components and services, including PCS, PPC, EMS, transformers, MV equipment, and service providers.
* Drive supplier assessments covering technical capabilities, quality standards, certifications, ESG compliance, and delivery performance.
* Establish supplier qualification, evaluation, and tiered supplier management systems.
2. Procurement & Commercial Management
* Lead supplier sourcing, RFQ processes, commercial negotiations, benchmarking, and procurement strategy development.
* Manage procurement contracts, framework agreements, and purchase order execution.
* Control lead times, pricing risks, payment terms, and claims management.
* Support supply chain commercial solutions during major project bidding and tendering stages.
3. Overseas Project Delivery & Supply Chain Coordination
* Coordinate suppliers with internal product, project delivery, quality, and engineering teams.
* Facilitate equipment delivery and service execution for overseas projects.
* Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and resolve critical supply-related issues during project execution.
4. Overseas Service Network Development
* Develop and manage overseas service partners for commissioning, after-sales service, and O&M (Operations & Maintenance).
* Establish service partner evaluation and management systems.
* Support the development of localized after-sales service and long-term O&M capabilities.
5. Localization & Supply Chain Strategy Support
* Support European localization initiatives and future manufacturing footprint development.
* Research European supply chain ecosystems, cost structures, and regulatory requirements.
* Build long-term strategic partnerships with local suppliers and service providers.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or supplier development within renewable energy, power equipment, energy storage, PCS, EPC, or industrial equipment industries.
* Experience with European local supply chains or international sourcing is highly preferred.
* Based in Germany and willing to travel extensively within Europe.
* Familiarity with key ESS components and systems, such as PCS, EMS, PPC, transformers, and medium-voltage equipment, is preferred.
* Strong supplier development, sourcing, and commercial negotiation skills.
* Solid understanding of international trade, procurement contracts, and supply chain risk management.
* Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
* Strong capability in building and optimizing supply chain management systems and processes.
* Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
* German language skills are considered a strong advantage.
