At Starkstrom-Gerätebau GmbH (SGB), we have been developing and manufacturing transformers that set global standards since 1947. With around 850 employees, we produce cast resin transformers up to 25 MVA and power transformers up to 150 MVA—for energy suppliers, industry, and infrastructure projects.

To strengthen our team in Regensburg, we are looking for you as
Test Lab Electrical Engineer (m/f/d)
(Full-time / Hybrid / Permanent)
Your responsibilities include
* You will create detailed test specifications and coordinate electrical acceptance tests
* You will operate and monitor the measurement and test equipment as needed
* You will evaluate the test and measurement results, document them, and, if necessary, discuss the results with customers present
* You will analyze measurement deviations and implement appropriate corrective measures
* You will actively participate in the continuous improvement process and the coordination of measuring equipment
* You will take on project-related activities as well as tasks in daily and forecast planning
What you bring to the table
* You hold a degree in electrical engineering (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Diploma) or have completed technical training, ideally with a focus on power engineering, high-voltage technology, or electrical machines, or possess a comparable qualification
* You have experience in the transformer sector and knowledge of measurement technology and measurement data processing
* You are proficient in Visual Basic and MS Office
* You are physically fit for work in the high-voltage test facility (no metallic implants, stents, pacemakers, etc.) and for driving and control tasks
* In addition, you have a head for heights for work on aerial work platforms or on the upper part of the test object
* You are characterized by openness, excellent communication skills, and a high degree of customer focus
* You speak and write German and English fluently
* You are willing to work shifts (early and late shifts)
