About the Opportunity
We seek a skilled Sales Manager to drive growth and expand our business in specialty glass solutions.
* Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue, gross margin, and market share objectives.
* Pursue new business opportunities, including adjacent industries, and secure orders through effective negotiation and contract management.
* Establish strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints professionally.
* Maintain accurate customer data and documentation in CRM systems, supporting informed decision-making.
Key Qualifications
* Educational Background & Experience: A Master's degree in Optics, Electronics, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline, combined with at least 5 years of proven success in technical sales within an industrial environment.
* Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electronics, optical materials, and components, with the ability to translate technical specifications into customer solutions.
* Sales & Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals with high-value customers.
* Communication & Interpersonal Competence: Fluent in English (additional skills in German are a plus) and skilled in building trustful relationships across functions and cultures within a matrix organization.
* Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with market analysis, forecasting, and identifying new business opportunities; willingness to travel internationally as required.
