Job Summary
As a Senior Security Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and issuing / receiving arms rooms keys in accordance with AR You will support complex security operations following standard processes to uphold the organization's security standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Operate within established procedures to ensure the effective functioning of security systems and apparatuses.
* Maintain and issue / receive arms room keys in accordance with AR 190-11
* Maintain and issue / receive other installation keys in accordance with KBR key control procedures.
* Conduct formal inquiries into criminal acts and violations of company policy.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service skills while interacting with personnel and visitors.
* Ensure timely and accurate completion of KBR Security reports.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
* Must meet requirements to be appointed a key custodian in accordance with U.S. Army Regulation (AR
* Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in security-related roles.
* Must be fluent in English.
* Requires strong computer skills including the MS Office Suite.
* General knowledge of security methods and doctrines is required.
* Requires a valid United States passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
* Familiarity with NISPOM and associated training.
* Additional certifications or training in security management or related fields.
* Experience with U.S. Government base access submission and approval procedures
* Experience with arms room key control procedures as prescribed in AR
